GLOBAL HELLENIC NETWORK

PADEE-WHIA connects legislators of Hellenic origin across six continents, building relationships between public leadership, communities and institutions worldwide.

02

A network extending across six continents

The anniversary celebration brought together legislators and public figures from an international network spanning more than twenty countries across six continents.

Participants represented a geographically diverse community that includes the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Israel and Armenia, among other countries around the world.

This international reach demonstrates the role that cross-border networks can play in maintaining relationships between Greece and Hellenic communities internationally, while creating channels for institutional dialogue and long-term cooperation.

03

Where public leadership, entrepreneurship and civil society meet

GPA Investment Group’s support of PADEE-WHIA reflects a broader view of how sustainable international partnerships are created.

Economic and business relationships do not develop in isolation. They are strengthened through connections between entrepreneurship, public leadership, institutions and civil society — each contributing a different perspective to the development of resilient international ecosystems.

This approach is also visible across the wider GPA ecosystem. Under the strategic leadership represented by Anastasios Spanidis , GPA Investment Group brings together companies, expertise and partnerships around a shared philosophy of long-term value creation and international collaboration.

The participation of Generation Y – International e-Business Hub as a co-sponsor further reflects the role of GPA’s business ecosystem in connecting entrepreneurship, technology and international networks.

GPA PERSPECTIVE

Lasting international partnerships are created where public leadership, entrepreneurship, institutions and civil society are able to connect.

04

Building international relationships for the long term

As an international business ecosystem, GPA Investment Group operates with a long-term perspective on relationships, partnerships and value creation.

Supporting PADEE-WHIA’s 30th Anniversary reflects this philosophy by contributing to an organization that has spent three decades developing international relationships among people connected by Hellenic heritage but operating across different countries, institutions and economic environments.

These connections can contribute to stronger dialogue, wider international networks and new opportunities for cooperation between business, public institutions and communities around the world.

GPA Investment Group participated in a dinner hosted by the Rotary Club of Glyfada, represented by Anastasios Spanidis , Alexios V. Liagkas and Anastasios Schinas .

The event brought together professionals, entrepreneurs and members of the wider business community for an evening focused on issues extending beyond day-to-day business activity and into the geopolitical environment shaping Greece and the wider region.

Professor Angelos Syrigos, Member of the Hellenic Parliament for Athens and Professor of International Law and Foreign Policy at Panteion University, participated as the evening’s guest speaker.

STRATEGIC DIALOGUE

The discussion focused on regional geopolitics, Greek-Turkish relations and the evolving strategic balance across the Eastern Mediterranean.

02

Geopolitics, Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean

The discussion explored geopolitical developments affecting Greece and its surrounding region, with particular attention to Greek-Turkish relations, regional stability and the strategic significance of the Eastern Mediterranean.

These developments extend beyond foreign policy. They form part of the wider environment in which organizations, investors and business leaders make long-term decisions, assess risk and identify new opportunities.

Understanding this broader context is increasingly important for businesses operating within interconnected international markets. Political stability, international relations, economic policy and regional developments can directly influence investment confidence, market access and long-term strategic planning.

03

Connecting business leadership with the wider environment

For GPA Investment Group, participation in discussions of this nature reflects a broader approach to business and investment: organizations cannot be viewed independently from the economic, political and institutional environment in which they operate.

Strategic leadership increasingly requires an understanding of how technology, capital, international relations, regulation and societal change interact. Building resilient companies therefore requires both operational execution and awareness of the forces shaping the markets around them.

GPA PERSPECTIVE

Business decisions do not exist in isolation. Understanding the geopolitical and institutional environment is part of building resilient, long-term organizations.

04

A long-standing relationship with the Rotary Club of Glyfada

GPA Investment Group has maintained an active relationship with the Rotary Club of Glyfada for more than a decade, reflecting its continued engagement with institutions that encourage dialogue between business leaders, professionals and the wider community.

Events such as this provide a forum for exchanging perspectives on issues of national and regional significance while strengthening relationships across the business and institutional ecosystem.

This engagement is consistent with GPA Investment Group’s wider philosophy: connecting entrepreneurship, investment, expertise and strategic partnerships in order to create sustainable, long-term business value.
